Centreville (Mich.) photographic collection 18uu, 1907.

The collection includes 30 glass-plate negatives, of which 29 are of Centreville (Mich.), including a church (1), courthouse (3), hotels, including the Capitol and Klessner's (3), houses and log cabin (8), school house (3), stores on Main Street (10) including Keasey's, Dittman's, Wolf Bros. Bank, and A. Beersted, grocer, and the water works (1). There is one glass plate negative of a water wheel in Constantine (Mich.). Also included are two receipts, 1907, and undated, of F. W. Keasey General Merchandise. Also included is an image taken from a book identified as Thomas W. Langley, and an ambrotype of a man in a top hat with tinted pink cheeks, loose from its broken case, that is very likely also Langley. There are also two images, probably of the same young woman, one is an ambrotype, the other a daguerreotype, both in broken or breaking cases. In both cases the lady has tinted pink cheeks and in the ambrotype she is wearing a tinted peach colored dress. There are also a badly deteriorated ambrotype of a woman, which is coming apart from a broken case.
